Barbara F. Hartley, 85
Apr 16, 2018Hartley, 85, a lifelong resident of Attleboro, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018. She was the loving wife of the late Edmund K. Hartley.Barbara was born in Pawtucket, and was the daughter of the late Louis E. Burdick and Florence (Hallowell).Barbara was employed as a block attender for Hope Webbing for many years until her retirement.She loved going out to eat, cooking and being by the water. Family was most important to Barbara, and holiday gatherings and family picnics brought her some of the greatest joy in her life.She is survived by her daughter Shirley Smith of Attleboro; grandchildren, Christopher and Jason Smith, and great-grandchildren, Natalie, Nolan, Narissa, Emma, Jacey and Nella.Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 22 at 7 p.m. in the Foley-Cook-Hathaway Funeral Home, 126 South Main St., Attleboro.
